浅色的桶立着，盖子扣着，像在问：这次装进去的，还能不能收回来。

## 盖

海底把很老的光  
一层一层压黑  
人把它舀上来烧  
烧过的，回不去

后来又一种光  
在柜子里日夜算着  
越算越贵  
算出来的东西  
有时一夜就不值钱了

还有一种更轻的  
从早漏到晚  
人跟着它走  
走着走着  
自己也薄了

油、数字、目光  
都曾被倒进类似的桶里  
都曾自以为很多

有人随它流走  
有人伸手把盖扣上  
桶还是那只桶  
空的时候  
天从盖沿上亮着

## English: The Lid

November 5, 2026

A pale barrel stands with its lid on, as if to ask whether what is poured in can ever be taken back.

### The Lid

The sea floor pressed very old light  
down, layer on layer, until it blackened.  
We scooped it up and burned it.  
What has been burned  
does not return.

Later came another kind of light,  
figured day and night in closed rooms.  
The figuring grew costly,  
and what it made  
was sometimes worth nothing by morning.

There is a lighter kind still.  
It leaks from morning to night.  
A person follows it  
and, following,  
grows thin.

Oil, numbers, and the gaze  
have all been poured into barrels like this,  
each sure there was plenty.

Some go where it flows.  
Some reach out and close the lid.  
The barrel is still the barrel.  
When it is empty,  
the sky shines along the rim.
